Travel Photo Contest

National Geographic is having a Traveler photo contest but hurry, the contest submission deadline is July 11 2011. They are looking for travel photos that are of people, landscapes, unrehearsed type photos. It does have an entry fee but look at it this way. You are getting your photos in front of National Geographic. First prize is a 14 day trip for 2 persons to the British and Irish Isles aboard the National Geographic Explorer. There are also prizes for second and third place along with seven merit prizes and all the winning photos will be showcased in the November/December issue of National Geographic Traveler magazine.
